Data ManagementHealth by Design has taken the initiative to integrate our customers’ health-related programs into a centralized database. This provides the employer with a complete, coordinated assessment of the health of their people and company. This integration includes data from the following sources:

  • Medical health plan
  • Prescription drug programs
  • Health risk assessments and biometric screening
  • Individual wellness assessment lab values
  • On-site clinic services
  • Workers’ compensation
  • Short and long-term disability
  • Absenteeism and employee retention costs

Health by Design’s goal is to offer data integration tools for our customers. These solutions help customers develop a health strategy that is focused and specific to the needs of their employees and company.

The data will help to do the following:

  • Determine the health risk level and expected expense of each plan member
  • Give utilization, performance and financial measurements of health care providers treating plan members
  • Analyze up to three years of integrated data and identify opportunities for health and financial improvements
  • Develop action plans on top opportunities and provide periodic updates on plan performance
  • Provide ongoing, periodic information relative to member risk, predicted spending and trends

This approach creates an environment where health care data is complete, better understood and developed into solutions that will positively impact the overall health of a company’s employees and the financial well-being of company health programs.
